I am an English PhD student at Indiana University Bloomington, where I also teach first-year writing and help inspire rhetorically aware producers and consumers of information.

My interests include the rhetoric of health and medicine; mental health rhetoric research; feminist rhetorical studies; disability studies; and multimodal composition. I am particularly interested in autoethnography and performative writing.

In my spare time, I enjoy poetry, construction projects, yoga, gardening, and anything art related. When fall rolls around, there is nothing better than taking my dog Zima on a mushroom hunt!
